Rigoletto – Verdi
Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto returns to the Salle Garnier in a production by the Théâtre Lyrique de Cagliari. The three-act opera follows the court jester Rigoletto, his daughter Gilda and the Duke of Mantua through a tragedy driven by seduction, deception and revenge, with some of Verdi’s most celebrated arias and ensembles.
The production is presented by the Opéra de Monte-Carlo with the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chorus of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.
