Pharmacies are distributed across several Monaco districts, including Monte-Carlo, La Condamine, Fontvieille, Larvotto, Monaco-Ville and the upper western and eastern areas of the Principality.
Regular opening hours differ from one pharmacy to another. Outside normal hours, Monaco operates an official pharmacy duty rota so that a designated pharmacy can provide coverage according to the published schedule.
If you do not know which pharmacy is currently on duty, the national number 116 117 provides information about duty doctors and pharmacies.
When regular opening hours are over
Monaco publishes an official rotating schedule of pharmacies on duty. The pharmacy changes according to the dates published in the Journal de Monaco.
Rather than relying on a pharmacy name that may change from one week to the next, use the national information number or check the current official rota.
