Le Petit Prince
Le Petit Prince comes to the Théâtre Princesse Grace in Monaco in a stage adaptation inspired by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s timeless work. Designed for a broad audience from age seven, the production follows the Little Prince as he leaves his tiny planet, encounters a series of unforgettable characters and gradually discovers what gives friendship, love, responsibility and human connection their real value. The story’s familiar encounters with the rose, the fox and the stranded aviator are reimagined for the stage while preserving the poetic simplicity that has made the original text an international classic.
This version uses an augmented visual environment in which animated graphics, stage illusion and live performance work together to create a dreamlike world suspended between reality and imagination. Hoël Le Corre performs the piece under the direction of François Ha Van, with additional creative work in magic, choreography, lighting and music. The result is a compact one-person performance that aims to remain faithful to Saint-Exupéry’s spirit while giving the audience a distinctly contemporary theatrical experience.
The performance takes place on Tuesday 19 January 2027 at 20:00 and runs for approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes without an interval. Visitors are advised to arrive early enough for seating and to consult the official Théâtre Princesse Grace page for current ticket availability, access information and any last-minute production updates.
