Orchestre des Carabiniers du Prince 1966–2026
The Prince’s Carabiniers Orchestra marks sixty years since the first Monegasque bugle call with a special anniversary concert at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco on 6 November 2026. More than 80 artists are announced for an evening designed to celebrate the musical heritage of the Prince’s Carabiniers while opening the programme to a broad range of styles.
A 60th-anniversary celebration
The anniversary recalls 19 November 1966, when the first Monegasque bugle call composed at the request of Prince Rainier III was heard on the Rock. Six decades later, the orchestra brings this history to the stage with invited performers and a large ensemble for a commemorative concert in Monaco.
The programme is announced as a wide-ranging musical journey, moving between popular music, jazz, rock & roll and large-scale concert works. The combination of ceremonial tradition and contemporary repertoire makes the evening both a historical tribute and a public celebration of the orchestra’s continuing role in the Principality.
Good to know
The concert is scheduled for Friday 6 November 2026 at 8:00 PM. The official ticketing information identifies the venue as Salle Prince Pierre at the Grimaldi Forum Monaco. No end time is published, so only the confirmed start time is shown.
