Monte-Carlo Photo Contest 2026 – Awards Ceremony
On Friday 4 December 2026 at 3:30 PM, the Monte-Carlo Photo Contest holds its awards ceremony in the conference hall of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco. The event is included in the published programme of Il Teatro della Vita and brings a photography-focused appointment to one of the Principality’s most recognisable cultural landmarks.
The experience
The ceremony celebrates work connected with the Monte-Carlo Photo Contest, offering an occasion to recognise photography and creative achievement. Set within the museum’s distinguished surroundings, the event reflects Monaco’s interest in photography and the arts alongside its wider programme of exhibitions and cultural gatherings. The published announcement confirms the awards format but does not provide a list of winners, a confirmed jury line-up or a detailed running order, so those details are deliberately not included here.
Good to know
The programme specifies Friday 4 December 2026, starting at 15:30, at the Salle de Conférence of the Musée Océanographique. A finishing time, general admission policy and ticket price are not provided in the announcement. Visitors interested in attending should contact the organiser or museum in advance rather than assuming that the awards presentation is freely open to everyone.
About the venue
Perched above the Mediterranean on Monaco-Ville’s rocky promontory, the Oceanographic Museum is an important scientific and cultural institution. Its interior spaces host educational, artistic and institutional events in addition to the museum’s permanent marine-life and ocean-conservation displays.
