MonacoPhil 2026 – Sub-Saharan African Stamps and Postal History
MonacoPhil dedicates a major thematic exhibition to stamps and postal documents from Sub-Saharan Africa up to the First World War. Held at One Monte-Carlo from 3 to 5 December 2026, the display presents a wide-ranging portrait of communications across the African continent through rare philatelic material.
A journey through postal history
The exhibition covers postal practices, routes and collecting traditions in different regions of Sub-Saharan Africa, tracing their evolution through the pre-war years. The selected stamps, envelopes and documents provide insight into changing networks of trade, administration and communication. Collectors can explore material rarely displayed together at this scale.
