L’italiana in Algeri – Rossini
Rossini’s comic opera L’italiana in Algeri comes to the Salle Garnier in a new Opéra de Monte-Carlo production. The two-act dramma giocoso follows Isabella as she turns a farcical web of romantic intrigue and mistaken expectations to her advantage, combining sparkling ensembles, virtuoso vocal writing and Rossini’s characteristic theatrical momentum.
This performance features the Opéra de Monte-Carlo production with Les Musiciens du Prince – Monaco and the Chorus of the Opéra de Monte-Carlo.
