J.-P. Saraste & M. Helmchen – Symphonic Concert
The Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo opens its January 2027 programme at the Auditorium Rainier III with a symphonic concert conducted by Jukka-Pekka Saraste and featuring pianist Martin Helmchen. The programme brings together two major 20th-century voices, with music by Igor Stravinsky and Béla Bartók, offering an afternoon built around rhythmic energy, orchestral colour and the dialogue between piano and orchestra.
This concert forms part of the OPMC 2026–2027 Grande Saison and is designed for both regular classical-music audiences and visitors looking to experience one of Monaco’s principal cultural institutions. The Auditorium Rainier III provides an intimate setting for the orchestra, within easy reach of Monte-Carlo and the harbour. Guests are advised to consult the official OPMC page for the latest ticket availability, seating information and any programme updates before attending.
