International Circus Festival – Awards Gala Evening
The 49th International Circus Festival of Monte-Carlo reaches one of its most prestigious moments on Tuesday 26 January 2027 with the Awards Gala Evening at the Chapiteau de Fontvieille. This special performance brings together the acts selected during the competition programmes and culminates in the presentation of the festival’s major awards, including the distinctions that have helped make Monte-Carlo one of the most important stages in the international circus world.
The gala is not simply a repetition of the qualifying shows. It is structured as a celebratory evening in which prize-winning artists, standout performances and the festival’s unique ceremonial atmosphere come together under the Fontvieille big top. For visitors, it is one of the most emblematic dates of the entire festival, combining high-level acrobatics, aerial work, clowning, animal-free contemporary circus disciplines and traditional circus artistry within a formal awards setting.
The Awards Gala begins at 19:30 on 26 January 2027. Because this is one of the festival’s highest-demand sessions, early booking is recommended. Visitors should consult the official Monte-Carlo Festival website for current ticket availability, seating categories and any programme updates before attending.
