F. Beermann & M. Goerne – Symphonic Concert
The Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo closes its January 2027 Grande Saison programme with conductor Frank Beermann and internationally renowned baritone Matthias Goerne. The concert brings together music by Beethoven, Brahms and Schumann, three central figures of the German Romantic tradition, in an evening that combines large-scale orchestral writing with the expressive depth of the baritone voice.
Matthias Goerne is widely associated with the German song and concert repertoire, while Frank Beermann brings extensive experience in both symphonic and operatic music. Their collaboration with the OPMC offers audiences a programme shaped by dramatic contrast, lyrical intensity and the distinctive orchestral colours of the 19th century. For visitors to Monaco, the concert is also an opportunity to experience one of the Principality’s principal cultural institutions in the focused setting of Auditorium Rainier III.
The performance takes place on Sunday 31 January 2027 at 18:00. The official OPMC page should be consulted for the latest ticket availability, seating information and any final programme changes before attending.
