European Heritage Days – Organ Concert at Église du Sacré-Cœur
As part of Monaco’s European Heritage Days, Église du Sacré-Cœur hosts a special organ recital by Jean-Christophe Aurnague. The programme, titled Trésors de la musique classique méconnus, focuses on lesser-known treasures from the classical repertoire and offers visitors an opportunity to experience the church’s organ in a heritage setting.
What to expect
The recital is designed as a focused musical discovery, highlighting works that sit outside the most familiar concert canon while showcasing the colour, range and character of the organ. The performance forms part of the European Heritage Days programme and combines music with the atmosphere of one of Monaco’s historic places of worship.
Practical information
The concert takes place on Sunday 4 October 2026 at 17:00 at Église du Sacré-Cœur, 14 chemin de la Turbie, Monaco. Admission is free. The official European Heritage Days page confirms access for people with reduced mobility.
