Dans le Couloir
Dans le Couloir brings Jean-Claude Grumberg’s writing to the Théâtre Princesse Grace as part of the 2026–2027 season. The play uses Grumberg’s characteristic blend of sharp observation, humanity and dark humour to examine ordinary lives confronted with uncertainty, memory and the fragile spaces between private experience and collective history.
Set within an apparently simple dramatic framework, the work gives weight to language, silence and the small gestures through which relationships are revealed. Grumberg’s theatre often moves between the intimate and the universal, allowing everyday situations to expose deeper questions about identity, absence, resilience and the way people continue to live with what cannot easily be repaired.
The performance takes place at the Théâtre Princesse Grace in Monte-Carlo and forms part of a season combining contemporary writing, major performers and productions selected for their literary and theatrical strength.
