Creative Writing Around a Novel with Christiane Campredon
Médiathèque Caroline hosts a creative writing workshop with Christiane Campredon on 17 November 2026, using a selected novel as a starting point for personal writing. The session invites participants to discover how reading can spark ideas, memories and new approaches to their own texts.
From reading to personal writing
Each session is built around the work of a major author, with the chosen novel revealed during the workshop so that participants can approach it with fresh eyes. Extracts, themes and literary techniques become material for guided writing exercises and discussion.
The selected books come from the Médiathèque Caroline collection, and participants receive additional reading suggestions after the workshop. The format is intended to encourage experimentation rather than literary performance, making it suitable for people who enjoy reading and want to develop their writing practice.
Good to know
The workshop takes place on Tuesday 17 November 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Admission is free. The event is listed as accessible to people with reduced mobility.
