A Wedding in the Spotlight
A Wedding in the Spotlight explores how the 1956 marriage of Prince Rainier III and Grace Kelly became a major international media event. Through films, photographs, archival material and period equipment, the exhibition looks at the extraordinary press operation surrounding the celebrations, the production of Le Mariage de Monaco and the way television, radio and cinema helped project Monaco to a worldwide audience. The exhibition runs at the Cabinet de curiosités of the Institut Audiovisuel de Monaco. Admission is free. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday from 09:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 17:30, and Friday from 09:30 to 12:30 and 13:30 to 16:30.
