23rd Monte-Carlo Film Festival de la Comédie
The 23rd Monte-Carlo Film Festival de la Comédie returns to Monaco from 11 to 14 November 2026, bringing international comedy cinema to the Grimaldi Forum Monaco through screenings, premieres, industry encounters and special events. The festival is dedicated entirely to comedy and brings filmmakers, actors, directors and guests together around a programme focused on contemporary comic cinema.
Four days devoted to comedy cinema
Across the festival, audiences can expect films in competition alongside gala screenings, press events and meetings with figures from the international film and entertainment world. The programme combines public-facing screenings with professional and ceremonial moments, creating a compact festival format in the heart of Monaco.
Why the festival matters
By focusing specifically on comedy, the Monte-Carlo Film Festival de la Comédie occupies a distinctive place in Monaco’s cultural calendar. Its format gives comedy cinema a dedicated international showcase while creating opportunities for audiences and professionals to engage with filmmakers and performers in person.
The event also extends Monaco’s autumn film and entertainment programme beyond individual screenings, turning the Grimaldi Forum into a multi-day meeting point for cinema, talent and industry guests.
