Victor Brauner’s Visionary Art in an Outstanding Collection – Lecture by Camille Morando
On Tuesday, 22 September 2026, the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco presents “Victor Brauner’s Visionary Art in an Outstanding Collection”, a lecture by art historian and curator Camille Morando at Villa Paloma.
The talk explores the visionary dimension of Victor Brauner’s work, looking at the artist’s fascination with metamorphosis, symbolism, archaic cultures and invisible worlds. The event is connected to the exhibition Victor Brauner, The Magical Adventure, which brings together a major private collection based in Monaco and offers a broad view of Brauner’s artistic development across painting, drawing and sculpture.
Camille Morando is the curator of the exhibition and a specialist in modern art. During the lecture, she will provide context for Brauner’s artistic language and the themes that shaped his practice, helping visitors better understand the ideas behind the works on display at Villa Paloma.
The lecture begins at 6:30 PM. Admission is free, subject to availability, and advance registration by email is required according to the museum’s official event information.
