SUMMARY:L’Autre – Didier Caron’s Wartime Drama at Théâtre des Muses
DESCRIPTION:\nFrom 10 to 13 December 2026, Théâtre des Muses presents L’Autre, a French-language wartime drama written and directed by Didier Caron. Set in April 1944, the story examines courage, secrecy and solidarity under the shadow of persecution, bringing a suspenseful historical narrative to the Monaco stage.\nThe experience\nSamuel Rosenthal, a Jewish doctor fleeing the French Milice, seeks refuge with Abbé Jocelyn while attempting to escape toward Switzerland. As suspicion mounts and danger approaches, the priest proposes an unexpected new identity as a way to protect his guest. The encounter creates a tense relationship between personal survival, religious identity and the bonds that can form across differences. The production features Juliette Galoisy, Christophe Corsand, Miguel Vander-Linden and Didier Caron, combining elements of drama, comedy and psychological suspense.\nGood to know\nThe theatre confirms performances on Thursday 10, Friday 11 and Saturday 12 December at 20:00, followed by a Sunday 13 December show at 16:30. The calendar’s initial 20:00 time applies to the first three evenings only; consult the individual Sunday schedule before attending. Running time is about 1 hour 20 minutes, and the production is indicated for ages 12 and above. Tickets are sold through the venue; exact ticket prices are not claimed here.\nAbout the venue\nThe 45A Boulevard du Jardin Exotique address offers an intimate auditorium and a programme curated for audiences interested in character-driven theatre. The small scale of Théâtre des Muses makes it an appealing setting for an emotionally focused drama.\nDiscover the venue on ViewMonaco. ( https://www.viewmonaco.com/listing/theatre-des-muses/ )\n\n
