SUMMARY:Harry Potter and the Sorcery of Music
DESCRIPTION:\nThe Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo invites families to Auditorium Rainier III on 31 October 2026 for a Halloween concert built around the magical worlds of orchestral music. Conducted by Philippe Béran with actor Joan Mompart, the programme combines music associated with Harry Potter and other works that evoke fantasy, mystery and imagination.\nA symphonic journey through magic and imagination\nThe concert features themes by John Williams alongside music by Paul Dukas, Modest Mussorgsky and Anatoly Liadov. Rather than focusing on a single film score, the programme connects several orchestral works through a common sense of wonder, storytelling and the supernatural.\nPhilippe Béran leads the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, while Joan Mompart adds a theatrical dimension to the performance. The format is conceived specifically for families and younger audiences, making it an accessible introduction to symphonic music as well as a seasonal Halloween outing.\nHalloween atmosphere\nAudience members are encouraged to come in costume for the Halloween occasion, and the official programme announces a sweet treat for children after the concert.\nGood to know\nThe concert starts on Saturday 31 October 2026 at 3:00 PM. The approximate duration is one hour without an interval. It is recommended for children aged five and over, and the announced ticket price is €10.\nAbout the venue\nAuditorium Rainier III on Boulevard Louis II is one of Monaco’s principal concert venues and a regular home of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo.\n\n
