SUMMARY:Victor Brauner: The Magical Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Victor Brauner: The Magical Adventure is presented at the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Paloma as a major exhibition devoted to the Romanian-born artist whose work became closely associated with Surrealism. The exhibition explores Brauner’s distinctive visual universe through paintings, drawings and symbolic imagery in which mythology, personal experience, esoteric references and dreamlike invention repeatedly intersect.\nRather than approaching Brauner only through the familiar language of Surrealism, the exhibition invites visitors to consider how his artistic vocabulary developed across different periods and how recurring signs, hybrid figures and imagined creatures became part of a highly personal system of representation. The setting at Villa Paloma provides a focused museum context for discovering both the historical importance of his work and the continuing strangeness and vitality of his imagery.\nThe exhibition remains open at Villa Paloma through Sunday 3 January 2027, with the museum operating from 10:00 to 18:00 while the exhibition is on view. Visitors should consult the official NMNM website before attending for current admission information and any operational updates.\n
