DESCRIPTION:Victor Brauner: The Magical Adventure presents a major survey of the Romanian-born artist and leading figure of international Surrealism. Drawing on an exceptional private collection based in Monaco, the exhibition spans Brauner’s work from the 1920s to the 1960s through paintings, drawings, sculptures, objects and other material that reveal the imaginative, symbolic and highly personal language of his art. Curated by Camille Morando, the exhibition occupies the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco – Villa Paloma and brings together a broad overview of one of the most distinctive artists associated with Surrealism.\nAbout the venue\nNew National Museum of Monaco – Villa Paloma is one of the Principality’s principal venues for modern and contemporary art.
