It also revisits the production of Le Mariage de Monaco and the role played by cinema, radio and television in shaping the international image of the Principality.\n\n\nFilm & Television\nMoving images and broadcast material show how the royal wedding reached an international audience.\n\n\nPhotography & Press\nArchival photographs and press material reveal the scale of the coverage surrounding the 1956 celebrations.\n\n\nMedia Technology\nPeriod equipment helps explain how images and reports were produced and distributed at the time.\n\n\nWhy the exhibition matters\nThe exhibition places the royal wedding within a broader history of modern communications.
